BoldX is a powerful 3-day experience for junior high and high schoolers to participate in passionate worship, impactful Bible teaching, deep spiritual moments, and sessions equipping them to live out a Bold faith.
This experience will leave teenagers prepared to step into the life-changing power of the Gospel and be sent into their schools and communities to lead others to do the same.
BoldX will take place June 12th-14th at Bethany South Campus. Find out more about Bethany Church.

With an international network of more than 700 churches and an extensive international missions program, Pastor Joakim has grown Word of Life Church into a body of believers that reaches people of all ethnicities and languages. Its Bible school has seen more than 50,000 graduates across its 15 global locations. In 2002, Joakim founded New Generation, a cross-denominational student movement that equips young Christians to share God’s love at schools and universities worldwide.
Raised in a legacy family, Jonathan Stockstill was born with ministry in his blood. From an early age, it was apparent that Jonathan had a tremendous gift for music. He won several state championships in piano before going on to master several other instruments and become an internationally recognized worship artist. By the age of 30, he had recorded more than 10 albums and personally written over 100 songs.
At the age of 30, Jonathan transitioned from worship pastor to lead pastor of Bethany Church, following in the footsteps of his father, Larry Stockstill, and his grandfather, Roy Stockstill. During the last five years, he has taken the church to new heights in both growth and influence. Jonathan has an exciting vision for the future of Bethany. With statewide campuses and Bethany church plants around the world, the next chapter is going to be very exciting.
Jonathan married the love of his life, Angie, in 2005. Whether swimming with his girls or wrestling with his son, Jonathan enjoys being a dad above all his many other responsibilities. When he and Angie relax, they love to frequent new restaurants and get away to popular travel destinations. A native of the bayous, he enjoys everything outdoors, especially water sports. He especially likes to fish and Yolo, sometimes doing both at the same time.
At heart, Jonathan is a creative leader. His musical innovation and leadership style define the best of the new generation of church leaders.
Jon Torres has been a dynamic leader at Bethany Church for the past 9 years with his wife, Natalie Torres, and their five children. He has served in many capacities over the years. Most recently, he has led the Next Gen Ministry and presided as President of Bethany College. His leadership content and development has continually strengthened the next generation of students and young leaders. Jon received a baccalaureate degree from Oral Roberts University and a master's degree from Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida. His other secret weapons include leading worship and cheering on the New England Patriots. He and his family are now being launched to assist in Bethany's global endeavor to Puerto Rico where we are establishing a missions base to host teams and see those across the Caribbean impacted by the kingdom of God.
Eli Bonilla Jr. is an emerging leader in the NextGen space. He serves several national networks in various roles, including the NextGen regional cochair for North America with Empowered21 and the national millennial director for the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference (NHCLC). His full-time responsibilities are with Bethany Church in Baton Rouge, LA, as Global NextGen Pastor. He is also a published author with Thomas Nelson. Eli is the father to two beautiful children, Novalee Grace and Ezekiel Eliezer Rafat, and husband to Alexis Gabriella Bonilla.

Check-in will begin at 5:00PM at our South Baton Rouge Campus. It will take place in the tent on the grounds.
We have multiple morning sessions that are jam-packed with dynamic worship and speakers. In the afternoons, we will have breakout sessions for students in a stream of their choice from worship, communication, and creative lanes. We will also have an afternoon for team competitions called "Tribe Wars". There are also many fun things to do in Baton Rouge outside of conference time. We would love for you to check out some of the places on our website!
Our sessions will remain open to our conference attendees and our serve teams.
For our youth pastors out there, we want to connect with you and have provided ways to do that. Join us Tuesday night before the night session for a mixer just for you to meet our teams and connect with other pastors at the conference. We also will have a breakout session just for our youth pastors with the goal to cover the challenges of youth ministry and resource you with Gen Z resources.

No, Bold X will gather together for all main sessions. Our students from Bethany Church will be able to return to their home each night and back for the next day of sessions!

We believe in creating a safe environment for our students to have the best experience. For that reason, our students will be under the supervision of our amazing YTH B-Group Leaders who have so graciously dedicated their week to serve and be with our students all during the conference. Our students will be divided up into Bgroups as normal with our leaders making themselves available to check in with each of their students individually as well as help create the most fun conference time as we all grow closer to God together.
